Trustee Hearing Notice – June 12, 2023 (Strip-Surface Mining)

The Trustees of Osnaburg Township, Stark County, Ohio gives notice that a Public Hearing will be held on Monday, June 12, 2023 at 8:30 PM at the Township Hall, located at 7115 Hillvale St SE, East Canton. The public hearing will be discussing a proposed language amendment to update existing requirements and definitions for Strip and Surface Mining. The proposed language includes new requirements for reclamation of the land that is mined, unearthed mines, and waterways and water sources for public safety purposes.
