Trustee Hearing Notice – May 27 2025 (Layered Zoning Rt 44)

The Trustees of Osnaburg Township, Stark County, Ohio gives notice that a Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, May 27th, 2025 at 8:00 PM at the Township Hall, located at 7115 Hillvale St SE, East Canton. The public hearing will be discussing OS #1 2025 and OS #2 2025, a proposed language and map amendment to add S.R. 44 from U.S. 30 south to the Township Line to the Corridor Overlay District, as well as recommendations from the Osnaburg Township Zoning Commission and Stark County Regional Planning. For the selected parcels on S.R. 44 South between U.S. 30 and the Township Line, the zoning will remain as it is currently and the Corridor Overlay will add a layer for the selected parcels for property owners to opt into. The purpose of this district is to encourage growth while protecting property owners along these corridors. Meeting is open to the public.
