OSNABURG TOWNSHIP’S Electricity Aggregation Program is Pausing in December 2026
The present Osnaburg Township’s Electricity Aggregation 4 year program will expire in December 2026.That present per kilowatt supplier rate is .0795.
Current suppliers Kilowatt rates being offered to the Township are higher than the utility’s (American Electric Ohio Power) rate, so rather than lock our residents into a more expensive contract, the present Township’s Electric Aggregation Program will pause until a better Kilowatt rate can be secured.
Ohio Powers Current rate is 10.19 cents per kilowatt, current Suppliers kilowatt hour rates being offered are above 10.19 cents these rates are not in the best interest to lock in at this time. Priority Power representatives Jay Sell and Raymond Finnegan are recommending to the Trustees to PAUSE Osnaburg Township’s Aggregation Program to let the electrical markets settle over a few more months to better secure a lower kilowatt rate.
WHY WE’RE PAUSING :
Our team works with supplier partners and surveys the market constantly to find the lower price. Today’s offers simply can’t beat Ohio Power per kWh rate.
WHAT IT MEANS FOR YOU:
Participating residents that are on our present Osnaburg Township’s electrify Aggregation program will temporarily return to Ohio Power’s standard utility rate. NO ACTION IS REQUIRED ON YOUR PART.!!!!!!!
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT:
We’re checking pricing daily and will secure a new rate as soon as market conditions allow. We’ll be in touch with you all as soon as possible thru US mail and on the Township’s website.
