Stark County Treasurer Alexander A Zumbar was present at the February 25 ,2019 Trustee meeting and asked to speak about a new program that Stark County Commissioners have approved. The program is for qualifying Stark County Resident to apply for Low Interest, Fixed Rate Home Improvement Loans for all owner-occupied single family and multi-family dwellings with a home value (not including land) of $250,000.00 or less. Treasurer Zumbar was very excited about the program and sited how this will help the residents of the county get their home improvement loans at very low interest rates.
Trustees Vincent and Pero asked questions regarding if there were any limitations on exterior and interior improvements. Treasurer Zumbar explained referring to the Flier that was pasted out of all the possibilities the loans could be used for (Flier Attached to this Post)Trustees asked about what the goal of this Fix-It program. Treasurer Zumbar explained that the Fix-It program was developed to help residents with fixing up their homes which will make them look better and help them get projects completed that they may not have been able to do normally.
